Senior Project Manager

Richmond, Virginia - Contract Role




Techead has an excellent opportunity in the Richmond, Virginia area with one of our locally recognized clients. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced and talented project management professional to enhance the growth of an exceptional organization!



Job Description:






  • This person will be responsible for managing Finance divisional projects, which would include interfacing with counterparts and HQ in Europe as well.

  • Preference to someone who has a PM background from both a technical and business standpoint. Technology is key with a couple of the initiatives while other initiatives will be more business focused. Someone who has some PM experience in Finance would be helpful as well.

  • This role is the key coordinator to provide the CFO a view for all projects that impact Finance, but contractor will not manage 100% of them.

  • The PM would be managing projects that fall out of the scope of the larger OM team, but that do consume material amounts of the Finance team or are related to initiatives coming from the Global Finance office.





Below is a list the projects this role will be managing:






  • Deployment of online employee expenses reimbursement tool. Chrome River is the software; in progress for US Finance Transformation Initiatives monitoring and reporting (global coordination).

  • RPA (Robotic process automation) process documentation and rollout US, CA in progress.

  • Cost saving tracking and reporting included FTE counts Americas region (US, CA, BR, MX).

  • SAP- Global enhancements queue liaison for Americas region (US, CA, MX).

  • Consolidating and reporting to CFO portfolio of Finance projects across the division
