TECHEAD is seeking a SalesForce Declarative Developer for a permanent role for one of our prestigious clients in Virginia Beach, Va.



As a SalesForce Declarative Developer your tasks will include but may not be limited to:



This position is responsible for developing solutions in support of global Salesforce CRM initiatives supporting donor management, fundraising and humanitarian activities in 25+ locations around the world.  This individual will take a primarily declarative approach to developing solutions in Salesforce to support our international locations, and will participate in planning and development in all areas of Salesforce including solution design, screen and workflow configuration, third party app selection and configuration, security modelling, and general system support in a multi-org, declarative enterprise.  This individual will be a catalyst for change and provide development recommendations and guidance to corporate headquarters and international field offices to ensure that provided solutions are implemented, supported, and maintained throughout the SDLC lifecycle.




  • Building and maintaining Salesforce-based solutions that include Salesforce systems components, security models, data flow, automations, third-party apps, process improvements and organizational change. 

  • Experienced integrating non-Salesforce systems using declarative tools or platforms.

  • Working with a Business Systems Analyst and a Project Manager to understand and implement a common set of business solutions to support the implementation of global enterprise level processes and common business rules. 

  • In addition, this individual will be required to respond to agile changes in systems requirements from these varying stakeholders, within a global framework which will apply corporate standards but also allow for local innovation.

  • The Salesforce Developer will help development standards and procedures for development and management of modifications. 

  • This position will assist in defining architecture to be applied across all implementations, and the processes and mechanisms to support and develop those implementations. 

  • The Developer will develop solutions within an Agile framework and will determine necessary data structures, processing procedures, and appropriate output to meet user needs in conjunction with the rest of the team. 

  • The Developer will also participate in creating and maintaining technical and user documentation of any developed solution. 



Requirements




  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT and 3 years’ experience with Salesforce development required.

  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud CRM required.

  • Experience with Salesforce Non-Profit Success Pack (NPSP) a plus.

  • Experience with Salesforce Communities a plus.

  • Experience with Apex and/or Visual Force a plus.

  • Salesforce Developer certification required.

  • Experience with the introduction of new technologies and standards in an unstructured environment.

  • Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and IT practices.

  • Experience in selecting and implementing packaged software solutions.

  • Experience in configuration management desired.

  • Experience developing and deploying apps using Force.com IDE or migration tools a plus.  ALM Experience a plus.

  • Additional Salesforce certifications a plus.

  • Preference for Declarative Solutions, ability to code if needed.

  • Ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop appropriate solutions under pressure.

  • Ability to work effectively in a small team-oriented environment, mentor and support additional IT team members.   Experience working in Agile teams a plus.

  • Experience in data migration, data hygiene, and bulk data loading into Salesforce desired.

  • Experience with integrated multi-channel marketing (print, telephone, digital media, social media, ecommerce and/or consumer services) a plus.

  • Working knowledge and experience with non-profit fundraising a plus.

  • Experience in eCommerce a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
