Program Manager 

Richmond, Virginia - Contract



TECHEAD is seeking a Program Manager to join our team. As a Program Manager  your tasks will include but may not be limited to:





Job Description:




  • We are looking for an experienced Program Manager for a strategic automation initiative.

  • In this role, you will be managing this strategic initiative to deliver automation capabilities for a variety of different processes.

  • We are looking for a high-energy, quick learner with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • The Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams and will be helping to drive results across multiple product development initiatives, such as RPA, Machine Learning/OCR products. 



Key responsibilities include:




  • Collaborate with program stakeholders to orchestrate our Go to Market plan activities.

  • Manage the program communications, creating executive-ready presentations for planning meetings, and program meeting.

  • Serve as a point of contact for the program to intake requests, and assist in grooming use cases.

  • Coordinating cross-capability delivery roadmaps.

  • Orchestration of the program strategy across ongoing and new development work streams.

  • Identifying, tracking, and mitigating program risks along with resolving issues that arise.

  • Establish metrics to analyze and track performance.



Job requirements:




  • 5+ years of work experience in managing large IT programs with cross-functional teams

  • Strong skills in PowerPoint and experience with creating executive-level presentations

  • Proven and substantial experience leading complex IT projects

  • Proven ability to lead matrix teams from many different groups and different locations

  • Ability to drive results through task coordination, handoffs and overall delivery of solutions

  • Excellent presentation skills, written and oral communications

  • Experience interacting with senior leaders as well as Engineers

  • Able to identify and negotiate solutions to address project challenges

  • Comfortable challenging ideas and working with disparate groups to bring consensus

  • Able to handle ambiguity in the project without losing focus

  • Able to perform with minimal direction

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Exposure to Agile methodology is preferred



Basic qualifications:




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or military experience



Preferred qualifications:




  • Master’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Management, or Engineering
