TECHEAD is seeking a Learning Specialist to join our team. As a Learning Specialist your tasks will include but may not be limited to:



Candidates must have the following skills and experience:




  • Facilitation experience is required 

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

  • Currently, there are 3 full-time Learning Specialists on her team.

  • This person will be dedicated to our client's on-site project.

  • This is a global project where all of the business units will be on one system (housing all policy set up, claims adjudication payments, etc.)

  • They are in the process of transitioning  to a new system with a roll-out date of March 2018



Top 3 must have skills:

  3. Facilitation




  • ADDIE: Develops new training programs using ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation).

  • Experience with e-learning tools is a plus- may assist with creating e-learning modules (Articulate Storyline). Articulate Storyline is a nice to have not a requirement.

  • Any experience with PeopleSoft will be a nice to have. They will have to train all new hires on both systems until ABS is up and running.



In partnership with customer groups; design, deliver and maintain product and service training programs for new and existing associates using blended learning tools which includes eLearning. Develop and maintain training manuals, materials, training, and eLearning modules leveraging templates and existing best practices to enhance the performance and development of associates.



Key Job Functions:




  • Coordinate and conduct new/revised product and services for new and existing associates.

  • Develop and design training documentation: participant guides, training manuals, course materials, leader guides, learning activities, and job aids to enhance the performance and development of associates.

  • Participate in training needs analysis through various methods and assist assigned customers with the development of an appropriate performance-based action plan.

  • Assist in the research and development of training modules to include technical training and soft skill training to enhance the skills and performance of existing associates.

  • Participate in meetings with Team Leaders, Managers, and Directors, VPs to provide input regarding workflow and system enhancements to ensure the appropriate level of service is available to the Operational Units.

  • Analyze and research various training options and make recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of the training department.

  • May perform other duties as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Two (2) to four (4) years of training experience.

  • Knowledge of Learning Management systems and e-learning authoring tool (Articulate Storyline)
